The Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes the Occupational Outlook Handbook, which describes many jobs in great detail and includes information about education, training, salary, outlook etc.  Access the web version from the Bureau of Labor Statistics here:
To find the Library’s version of the Occupational Outlook Handbook, follow these steps:

On the Library homepage, search by Title. See the example below:


A search box will appear on the results page where a particular career field can be searched:


You can also search the entire book in the Library collection. To see relevant chapters, search the Table of Contents or select the Index:

You can also search information about your career field directly on the Library homepage. 

 Perhaps try career-focused terms like:  careers, salary, occupation, jobs, job description, etc...
  • practice management careers
  • records management occupations
  • medical office manager salary
  • practice management job description
