Turnitin is a plagiarism analysis program used by many instructors and integrated into many courses (though not all) to measure the originality of submitted papers. When an assignment is submitted into the Dropbox, the assignment will be automatically analyzed by the plagiarism detection tool. The Turnitin Originality Report is available for viewing when an icon in the Report column of the assignment inbox appears. This report indicates matching or similar text found in submitted papers. This report is only available in the assignment inbox and must be download prior to the grading of the assignment. Note that only select assignments will be linked with Turnitin. Check with your instructor for more information.
